1 2012The GRiM Challenge
He was at it again and this time roped in a few members of his unit. Sgt Carl Sharples, the new FAB Fundraising Manager, Captain Gemma Smith, LCpl Anthony Collinson and LCpl Van Staden all doned orange FAB t-shirts and thrashed themselves around a gruelling 8 mile 'GRiM' circuit, all to raise money for FAB. So far they are at the £300 mark and rising. Well done guys and thank you!!

FAB Volunteer Paul O'Nions and a group of friends both Military and Civilian are taking part in the gruelling Death March through Belgium. Each person will complete 100Km each and they have just 24 hours in which to do it. The event starts at 9pm on the Friday night and finishes at 9pm the following night. Good luck to FABster Paul and the rest of his friends.

Capt (RN) Andy Kyte took part in the Plymouth ½ Marathon in aid of FAB on 29th May 2011. Despite the winds, Andy managed to gain a Personal Best (PB) round the course and raise approx £800 for FAB. Thank you very much!

The members of The Fuel Burners Bike Club (TFB) held a Motorcycle Show on 7th May at Broadlakes Social Club in St Albans with all monies raised on the day being donated to FAB. There were numerous attractions such as Live Bands, Trade and Cake stalls and a raffle during the day. Thank you TFB for nominating FAB as your charity!

A team from RAF Fylingdales consisting of Flt Lt Garf Parker, FS Bob Greenfield and Cpl Noel Hellmann cycled approximately 170 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington in an attempt to raise as much money for FAB as possible – thank you very much guys!
