    Charity Golf Day

    Altonwood have very generously allowed Westerham Golf Club to offer considerable support to an evening of dinner, entertainment and dancing on Fri 23 Mar 12.  There will be the opportunity to play golf at the Club through the day and/or attend a 3 course dinner in the evening.  FAB would like to thank Mr and Mrs Noades and all from Altonwood and Westerham Golf Club for their support in organising this event.

    Fleet 1/2 Marathon

    On Sun 25 March 2012 Capt Karen Tait is running 13 miles for FAB by ‘attempting’ to complete the Fleet 1/2 marathon.  She is currently trying to entice others to take part with her so watch this space!!

    National Lottery Olympic Park Run

    Capt Karen Tait has secured 1 of 5,000 places to be one of the first across the Olympic finish line.  The course is 5 miles in length (not the 100 metres she had hoped it was!).  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and Karen intends on using this chance to not only raise some more funds for FAB but awareness too.

    Met Police Boxing Night 2012

    PC Graham Smith has been busy again organising the Met Police Boxing and Dinner night for 2012.  It is due to take place at Wellington Barracks on Fri 27th April.  If any FABsters are interested in assisting at this event then please contact Capt Karen Tait via the staff contact page.  Thanks again Lofty!!

    Edinburgh Marathon

    Melissa Hargreaves has decided to undertake the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of FAB.  The route is alleged to be flat and fast and voted fastest marathon by runners world in 2008….we’ll wait and see what Melissa has to say about it when she tries to get up on Monday 28th!!!!  Best of luck Melissa and thank you once again.

    Death March

    FAB Volunteer Paul O’Nions and a group of friends both Military and Civilian are taking part in the gruelling Death March through Belgium.  Each person will complete 100Km each and they have just 24 hours in which to do it.  The event starts at 9pm on the Friday night and finishes at 9pm the following night.  Good luck to FABster Paul and the rest of his friends.
