It’s back!!! The annual FAB Bike Ride 2014. Dust off those bikes and lycra and get ready for another cycle. New Year and New Route!! This year we are going to travel from Whitby, N. Yorks to our new FAB camp in the South Downs. The ride will cover 453 miles in memory of the 453 service personnel who lost their lives in Afghanistan. Be part of something special.
We will leave from Whitby with a send off from the FAB families and volunteers beginning their FAB camp and arrive to FAB families and volunteers beginning their FAB camp in the South Downs. This event is open to ANYONE who wants to get involved from the professional to the novice (trust me – if I can do it then anyone can!). Is it going to be hard? YES! Is it going to be hugely rewarding? YES!!!!
Gav Brooks has very kindly offered to organise this event for us again and so if you are interested in covering a few miles on a bicycle (ok I lie – lots of miles), or you want to offer your assistance in organising the event then please do contact him via: [email protected] We will need assistance with publicising the event, fundraising and a probably a whole host of other things!!
Go on…..GIVE IT A TRY!!!
